Montréal: A Little Piece of France in Canada

With only two hours to explore Montréal (read 48 Hours in Toronto to understand why), I found myself speed walking through this beautiful city, taking in its energy, French culture and architecture. Having been to France three times, with my most recent trip being Paris, Montréal was surreal in that everyone speaks French yet are extremely nice when recognizing foreigners.

Filled with historical monuments such as their own Notre Dame, but also several art museums worth exploring, I immediately felt transported back to Paris where I strolled down its streets eating croissants and shopping. Oh, how I wish I could’ve stayed longer to really see everything Montréal offers.

I also came across a few vegan restaurants that are on my must try list - AGAIN! La Panthère Verte had one of the best falafel sandwiches I’ve had in a while, including vegan cookies. LOV, an influencer’s dream location for it’s white decor yet vibrant colored dishes. I apologize for how dark they came out but dinner is served under dim lights.

I’m seriously having withdrawals. Should I plan a trip back to Montreal? Have you been?
